A Request for Information

Fellow Privateer Hockey Alumni:
If you would like to see your era of hockey represented on the website, please send me (via e-mail or regular mail) pictures, yearbook pages, articles and names of your teamates from when you played. If you played for four years, you should have:

• the names of seven classes of Maritime hockey players stored somewhere in your memory,
• yearbook pages from four yearbooks somewhere on a bookshelf, in a closet, or balancing a damaged piano leg,
• maybe articles from the Porthole or some other school newspaper (maybe even MCHC standings from the Daily News or Newsday stuck into your yearbooks or in a file),
• promotional calendars or other fundraising memorabilia, or
• team rosters or standings published or printed somewhere.

If you have any of this kind of stuff, please e-mail me at garveydd@yahoo.com and we can discuss how to get it posted on the website.

Privateer Hockey Blog

Hi, I'm trying to start something here and so far am getting very little traction. I'll stick with it for a while and see what develops. Here goes:

This is the Privateer Hockey Blog which I have linked to the SUNY Maritime College (unofficial) Privateer Hockey Website. Being new to blogging, I'm not sure how it will turn out. Hopefully, we will be able to get some conversations going within and among the various eras of Maritime College hockey players.
